Chicago – Porn Valley Media’s NFL Picks: Week 5
PVM’s Stats – Week 4 Results: 9 – 6 Season Record: 38 – 23 – 2

BYE Week – Chicago, Tampa

Thursday … Indianapolis @ New England – Boneheaded mistakes by the Colts coaching staff in OT cost them a win against the Texans last week while the Patriots showed some life in their dismantling of Miami. Expect another dismantling of the Colts this time. New England 31 Indianapolis 17

Sunday … Tennessee @ Buffalo – The Titans had a mild upset last week when they beat the Eagles at home last week. Buffalo continues to struggle with a rookie QB. Titans 27 Bills 17

Atlanta @ Pittsburgh – These two teams have been a disappointment so far this year but I’ll hold my nose and take the Steelers at home for at least another week. Steelers 34 Falcons 31

Denver @ NY Jets – The Jets have settled into the fact that winning with a rookie QB is difficult while the Broncos kept the Chiefs game closer than I expected. Broncos 34 Jets 24

Jacksonville @ Kansas City – The Jags will be the hardest team they’ve faced yet this season. The Jaguars are an impressive  3 – 1 but you don’t loose to Tennessee 9 – 6 at home of you’re a great football team. Chiefs 27 Jags 24

Green Bay @ Detroit – A great rivalry in the NFC North in which the Packers pitched a shutout last week against the lowly Bills while the Lions figured out another way a heart breaker down in Dallas. Packers 27 Lions 24

Baltimore @ Cleveland – The Browns have been an entertaining team to watch this year but Baltimore is just too strong. Ravens 34 Browns 24

NY Giants @ Carolina – Wins for the Giants will be hard to come by this year and it will be impossible against Carolina this week. Panthers 38 Giants 27

Miami @ Cincinnati – The Dolphins are still in first place after getting their doors blown off last week in New England. Good teams shake off a lose like that and quickly rebound. However, the Bengals are playing good football going 3 – 1 and winning on the road against Atlanta last week. Bengals 34 Dolphins 27

Oakland @ LA Chargers – Another great old rivalry game from the AFC West. Chargers 34 Raiders 27

Arizona @ San Francisco – The Cardinals are starting a rookie QB and the 49ers are starting their backup. Should be an interesting game if you like turnovers. 49ers 24 Cardinals 20

Minnesota @ Philadelphia – Last year’s playoffs rematch in which both teams have struggled this year. Eagles 27 Vikings 24

LA Rams @ Seattle – This game really shouldn’t be close. Rams 38 Seahawks 24

Dallas @ Houston – The battle for Texas in which both teams have a combined 3 – 5 record. Somebody has to win, right? Or not. Cowboys 27 Texans 20

Monday …  Washington @ New Orleans – Washington is coming off a bye week while the Saints come home after a solid road win against the hapless Giants. Saints 38 Washington 27
